Some thoughts from Arkansas

I’ve always wondered why it was spelled “…sas” but pronounced “…saw.” Apparently it’s because of the Indian and French origins of the name. Anyway, I’m here in Little Rock visiting Alltel Wireless headquarters, which is actually pretty big. Besides work, there’s nothing to do here. The most exciting thing is watching the NBA playoffs on the 40 inch flat panel in my hotel room. Right now I’m rooting for the Suns over the Spurs, after which I’m going straight to bed because I need to wake up at 6 AM tomorrow morning, after getting only two hours of sleep these last two nights.

You know what, I think I complain too much. I used to be so hopeful and optimistic in college. Now I’m just grumpy all the time, leading myself into a positive feedback cycle of negativity– not really a healthy attitude, I’d say. I’m going to try to change that. Woohoo, Stoudemire just gave Phoenix the lead, with a sweet pass from Nash! Anyway, I leave you with my random pic of the day.

pekkle, i’d seriously consider that if i wasn’t applying to law school this fall.

jz, ya, that was totally uncalled for. plus, now stoudemire and diaw are suspended for the next game! if the spurs win this series, it will known as the series won by a flagrant foul.
