After a surprisingly lucky series of events, I ended up with a Nintendo Wii yesterday! Here’s how it happened.

Last week some coworkers and I stopped by a Gamestop store after lunch to look for Wiis. They had none so we left, but not before I bought a wireless PS2 controller for my own use, which I discovered later to be defective. So yesterday I decided I’d return to the Gamestop store after lunch to get a replacement. On my way to lunch I stopped by a Sam Ashe store to see if they had any Ultimate Ears Super.fi 5 Pros in stock. They didn’t, which was key because the line at Sam Ashe would’ve cost me ten minutes or so, and that would’ve changed everything. (Read on …)
