Sony takes out huge loan as PS3 production ramps up
You can read the story here. Meanwhile, I’m looking more and more forward to the wii. The wireless remote looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun.

you I had heard that sony has it’s own bank specifically for times like this, many companies in the US exploit a loophole in us banking laws doing this (they aren’t called banks but something else, don’t remember the name). Home depot and Target already have their own (mainly to avoid what they view as excessive credit card processing fees, which they can avoid by processing the credit cards with their own bank) and this issue has only gotten attention since Wal-Mart announced plans to open their own.
So it might not be as bad it seems for two reason, one) if i’m right about sony having it’s own bank their rates are likely to be very favorable and two) interest rates in japan are very very low on top of that.
still I really wish Square enix ports over ffxiii to either the wii or the 360, i don’t think many in the US and europe will be buying a ps3….
