Nintendo Revolution’s Super Mario Galaxy

Here’s a video from E3 (66 MB) showing live gameplay of Super Mario Galaxy on the Nintendo Revolution. The graphics don’t look that stunning, but I guess the focus is more on the gameplay and the use of the new controller. And just so we get it out of the way– yes, the girl in the video is playing with a wii.

heh have you heard they have been calling the controller the “wiimote”. that’s about the only good thing I’ve heard come out of this naming fiasco.I think Nintendo is picking the right time to deemphasize graphics frankly, to the unsophiscated gamer the difference will be the least noticeable in this generation than all previous ones.

Sony must have thought they have got a point, as they once again copied their innovations (analog sticks or shoulder buttons anyone? :) )

There is an abundance of puerile and French jokes in this naming scheme.

Of all the new consoles it’s the most affordable one (ok so the XBox 360 has the lead in terms of actually being available) and probably will have the most interesting group / party games.

I have no idea what Sony is thinking with its PS3 …

Yes, wiimote sounds better than wii. :) And ya, Nintendo seems to focus more on family and group oriented games. Gamecube is still a great console for parties / gatherings.
