Alias the TV series…

… is pretty fun to watch. I started viewing the first season DVDs a couple weeks ago and am now caught up through season three and waiting for the fourth season to start. Although plot holes and innacuracies abound, the suspense and action are enough to make up for it.

One thing I can’t quite get over, though, is the rather silly moral blanket the producers cast over the character of Sydney Bristow which apparently can be taken off and readorned at will or whenever it’s convenient for the plotline.

Example:

“Oh, I can’t believe I just killed an innocent man! I’m going to grieve over it for three episodes!” And later we see her with a machine gun mowing down dozens of newbie security personel, each of whom are just trying to do their jobs so they can bring home food to a wife suffering through cancer and five children.

Anyways, Alias is a fun series. Highly recommend.
